My practice is rooted in the simultaneity of intimacy and vastness — the way personal memory, collective experience, and cultural conditioning accumulate into a shared psyche that shapes perception and choice before we have language for it. I am drawn to the places where the individual and the collective blur: where a discarded object carries someone else's history and where an interior life is made public for collective consumption.

I work with thrifted and found objects, internet photography, imagery drawn from the natural world, and spiritual and religious iconography. Thrifted and discarded materials honour the timelessness of craft and the collective intuition embedded in made things — the sense that creation is never entirely individual but is always in conversation with what came before and what surrounds us. Internet photography functions as a reference to the collective unconscious: a vast, non-linear archive shaped by infinite loops of trauma, memory, and meaning-making. Spiritual and religious iconography speaks to how institutions and inherited belief systems shape perspective, while drawings, paintings, and embroidered imagery from the natural world ground the work in physical experience.

Art, in my practice, is meant to be something that does not require a pilgrimage. By emphasizing the relationship between art, clothing, and domestic objects, I return art to the spaces where identity is subconsciously shaped every day — encounters that are not sought out, but simply part of lived experience.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, and based in South Florida, I hold a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Sculpture from FAU. My work has been exhibited at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood.
