Mary Jane Zapp will host this workshop and provide 1.5” Kenzan , greens, and flowers for the arrangements. You need to bring your own vessel or container that will accommodate the Kenzan (pin frog). Preferably, your container or vessel should be flat and short. The principles and examples of classic Ikebana will be demonstrated. You will create your own arrangements. Good idea to bring old towels and boxes to secure your arrangements for transport. You must bring a bucket, sharp scissors, pruners, and a small cup for the provided dipping solution and your own vessel or container. Enrollment will be limited. The class will be for beginners and intermediates. You can bring your own Kenzan and container to create multiple arrangements. The flowers you are given will be yours to use or take home. Questions?
